DC Water is Life!

Washington, D.C. is home to several national monuments including the White House, Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial, just to name a few. But if you happen to be enjoying an event in the capital city, you may stumble upon a unique “monument” – their Brita® Hydration Station® kiosks. DC Water offers portable, hands-free, Brita® filtered water dispensing kiosks to be rented for various events within the DC area. With all the fun that is had at outdoor festivals and the staggering heat of a DC summer, it is easy to get dehydrated very quickly, which happens to be a major inhibitor on fun.

Throwback Thursday: Washington DC with Michelle Obama

This past July, Haws was invited to the White House to kick-off becoming a major supporter of the Partnership for Healthier America’s Drink Up campaign. It was an honor to attend along with the additional  new supporters, in an effort to encourage the activity of drinking water.

As part of our support, Haws will provide Drink Up branded Brita® Hydration Stations® and drinking fountains to be distributed nationwide, providing added awareness to the campaign. Haws is also teaming up with Nalgene®in a fundraising program that helps schools and universities with the cost of Brita® Hydration Stations® . Proceeds from the program also benefit Drink Up.

During her speech, Michelle Obama recognized the efforts of the Drink Up supporters including Haws. Haws hopes that participation in the campaign will add continued success to Drink Up and help encourage healthy hydration habits nationwide.
