Students at Donner Springs Elementary School struggle with inadequate access to clean drinking water. “Our cafeteria’s hi-lo drinking fountain was out of order, leaving students with limited hydration options. Many relied solely on the milk provided with lunch, while sta had to bring multiple water bottles from home just to stay hydrated. Without filtered water or a bottle-filling station, both students and sta were not consuming enough water throughout the day,” explained Principal Mary Riggs.

OBJECTIVE

The school needed a hydration solution that would:

Minimize the need for staff to bring multiple water bottles to school each day.

SOLUTION

The school installed the Haws 1212SF Wall Mount Hi-Lo Indoor ADA Filtered Water Cooler with Bottle Filling Station in the cafeteria, ensuring easy access to clean, filtered water.
