8315CTFP.220V – AXION® MSR Freeze-Protected Shower and Eye/Face Wash

Haws Model 8315CTFP.220V heat traced combination 220 VAC shower and eye/face wash shall include the 3-way “easy activation, easy return” valve design that provides less ‘dead leg’ water, reducing the threat of Legionella growth. The compact design also allows for economical, safe and fast shipment via UPS. Also provided is the AXION® MSR hydrodynamic designed green ABS plastic 10-5/8″ (26.9 cm) showerhead with integral self-regulating 20 gpm flow control, and AXION MSR eye/face wash head shall feature inverted directional laminar flow which achieves Zero Vertical Velocity™ supplied by an integral 4 gpm flow control. Unit shall also include thermostatically controlled electric heat traced cable protected by 1″ (2.5 cm) insulation and an ABS plastic green jacket that prevents freezing down to ambient temperatures of -30° F, powder-coated cast-iron 9″ (22.9 cm) diameter floor flange, universal sign, 1-1/4″ NPT supply, and rated Class 1, Div 2, Group B, C & D with 1.09 amp max. 8315CTFP – AXION® MSR Freeze-Protected Shower and Eye/Face Wash

Haws Model 8315CTFP heat traced combination shower and eye/face wash features a unique 3-way valve which reduces the amount of pressurized pipe and non-pressurized standing water, greatly lowering the amount of “dead leg” water in the system resulting in less opportunity for Legionella growth. Also reduced is the packaging foot print allowing for economical and fast UPS shipment. The unit includes the medically acclaimed AXION MSR eye/face wash head assembly. This revolutionary inverted flow design is the only product on the market that provides a Medically Superior Response consistent with all EMT, emergency room and doctors’ office protocols by sweeping contaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity. Traditional eyewashes irrigate from the outside edge of the eye back toward the nose, where contaminants can then be flushed into the nasal cavity through the lacrimal punctum, nature’s ocular cavity drain. SK6 – Cane Detection, Floor Mounted

The Haws model SK6 cane detection is a stainless-steel, floor-mounted ADA compliant, bracket installed directly under the high side of a Haws Hi-Lo drinking fountain, or any other ADA compliant dual drinking fountain or water cooler. When installed properly, the use of a cane detection would allow for immediate identification of the leading edge of this floor mounted device, preventing the user from contacting the wall mounted fountain. The bracket is constructed of 14-gauge Type 304 Stainless Steel. Measurements: 5-1’4″ W x 15″ L x 3-1/4″ H.

8740 – Emergency Overhead Tank Shower

The Haws 8740 emergency overhead tank shower is designed for indoor installation. The ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 compliant design as a self contained shower is to be used in 60° – 100° F (16° – 38° C) ambient temperatures. Modular six piece galvanized frame is easily assembled and disassembled for flexible placement options. Frame includes mounting feet with 4 bolt holes each for increased stability, and integral forklift slots for easy mobility. This unit includes a 330-gal IBC high-density polyethylene tank, supply inlet piping, auto-fill valve for refill, breather vent and 2″ NPT ball valve integral to tank for shower piping. Adheres to International Building Code 2012. Min Fill pressure: 20 PSIG with a minimum fill flow rate of 15 GPM. Max fill pressure: 60 PSIG. Large high-visibility green and white universal signage for quick identification on three sides. Supply inlet: 1-1/4″ NPTM PVC fitting. Standard plugged pipe fitting supplied for optional AXION eye/face wash assembly. Optional model 9084 cleansing stick can be used to provide continual protection against pathogenic bacteria in the water for up to 3 years. Model 8740 is certified by CSA to meet the ANSI Z358.1 Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment. Note: This unit must be plumbed through the supply inlet for ANSI Z358.1 compliance.

8760 – ePOD™ Skid-Mounted Emergency Tempered Shower and Eye/Face Wash System

Model 8760 ePOD™ shower and eye/face wash tempering skid mixes it’s pre-heated water supply in its onboard storage tank with low temperature facility water through its Haws Tempered Water Blending System, to produce an ANSI compliant water supply for all safety equipment in the plumbed system. It shall include an aluminum channel 5′ x 5′ (1.5 x 1.5 m) frame with a composite equipment platform, with safety green chemical and UV resistant polyester based powder coating. There is a 20 gpm (75.7 L) AXION shower head, an eyewash that features the medically acclaimed AXION® MSR eye/face wash head assembly. This single shower and/or eyewash or multiple shower/eyewash tempering unit provides an operating temperature range of 35° to 120° F (1.67° to 48.9° C), supplied with 480V single phase tie in, and is designed to operate with a number of tempering and electrical options. The tempered water blending system will include an integral hot water supply, and will incorporate fail-safe features like anti-scald protection and full flow cold water bypass. The electrical system can be easily adapted to voltages upon request. Combination shower and eyewash is certified by CSA to meet the ANSI Z358.1 Standard for emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment. 8770 – ePOD™ Indoor Gravity Fed Emergency Shower

Model 8770 ePOD™ is the lightweight solution for conditions where there is no potable water available, or water that is available doesn’t meet the requirements for ANSI compliant safety shower operation. The 8770 overhead tank shower (OTS) design stores all the water required for a fully compliant safety shower/eyewash response in a custom engineered tank and tower design. This configuration allows the overhead tank to gravity feed water to both the shower and eyewash. The 8770 is the perfect solution for remote locations without on-site water, locations where plumbing is difficult or economically not feasible, or anywhere a quick, easy to install safety shower solution is needed. This unit includes an aluminum structure with bright green side panels and 530 gallon (2006 L) overhead molded plastic tank. Supplied with a NEMA 4 electrical enclosure with 480V, three phase inlet. Model 8780 ePOD™ skid-mounted tempering system is the heart of the Haws Integrated tempering solutions line, offering a wide range of options to apply the equipment to an extensive range of water tempering solutions. Model 8785 ePOD™ enclosed tempering system can be placed into any environment. Whether the intent is the protect the equipment from dirty or contaminated environments, shield from unpredictable outdoor weather, or provide a heated/cooled enclosure in extreme temperature installations the 8785 is your go-to choice for a rugged yet flexible water tempering skid solution. It shall include an all-weather 5′ x 5′ (1.52 x 1.52m) booth which provides optional operating temperature ranges of -50° to 120° F (-45.5° to 49.8° C), and is constructed of corrosion resistant aluminum paneling with polyester based powder coating. This single or multiple showers and/or eyewash tempering water unit with galvanized piping is designed to operate with several tempering and electrical options. Standard hook-up is a 480V, three phase inlet inside a NEMA 4 enclosure. The internal booth temperature can be maintained by an optional space heater. 8710 – ePOD­™ Indoor/Outdoor Tempered Shower and Eye/Face Wash System

Model 8710 ePOD™ Indoor/Outdoor heated enclosed shower and eye/face wash combines all the features of the 8780, 8785, and 8760 into one streamlined package that can provide protection for both the tempering equipment as well as the victim using the included safety shower eyewash combo unit. It shall include a 5’ x 10’ (1.52 x 3.04 m) bright green, chemically resistant, water-proof coated booth made with an aluminum base, frame, and enclosure. This superior design provides optional operating temperature ranges of -50° to 120° F (-40° to 49° C), and shall include spring-loaded, self-closing shower doors, equipment room door, and removable service panel. The use of an Advanced Programmable Monitoring Control System allows for real-time control of the operating system. The booth is trimmed with large directional arrows, large and small universal shower/eyewash signs, fiberglass floor grate, and 3” IPS inside caulk drain.
