Haws model 6425 Activated Carbon granule filter removes chlorine taste and odor, and water born sediment. Polypropylene filter housing is 2" (5.1 cm) in diameter by 6" (15.2 cm) long, 3/8" NPTF inlet and outlet. Rated for .5 gpm (1.9 L) and has a 1000 gallon capacity. This filter protects the water flow for one bubbler, two filters are required for Hi-Low, dual-height or multi-bubbler drinking fountains. Haws manufactures drinking fountains and electric water coolers to be lead-free by all known definitions including ANSI/NSF Standard 61, Section 9, California Proposition 65 and the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act.
