Model TWBS.SH Product Details

Model TWBS.SH is a prepackaged, fully engineered and tested system for mixing hot and cold water to provide tempered water up to 40 gpm for emergency shower and eyewashes (Pat.# 5,350,112). It consists of a thermostatic mixing valve, a high temperature limit valve, a bypass valve, and an outlet temperature gauge.

• Unit is constructed of bronze, brass, copper and stainless steel.
• Ideal for areas where supply water temperature fall below 60°F (15°C).
• Unit contains no electrical components; thus suitable for combustible atmospheres.
• Maximum inlet pressure: 125 psi. Maximum inlet temperature: 180°F (82°C). Recommended inlet temperature: 140°F (60°C).
• Pressure requirements: 60 psi to adequately supply water for safety shower.
• Inlet and outlet: 1-1/4" IPS. Dielectric inlet and outlet unions provided.

Model TWBS.SH Components

	Mixing Valve Part 0006600079 brass thermostatic mixing valve provides flow up to 35 gpm of tempered water from 60°F (16°C) to 85°F (29°C). Factory set at 80°F (27°C). 3/4" IPS inlet and 1" IPS outlet.
	Bypass Valve Part 0006600003 bronze pressure relief valve opens when pressure differential reaches 25 psi or above. Allows cold water to by pass mixing valve. 1" IPS.
	Hot shut-off valve Part 0006599724 brass valve shuts off when water temperature exceeds 85.6°F (30°C). Valve reopens when water temperature falls below 80°F (27°C), 1" IPS.
