Model 8760 Description

Model 8760 is a skid-mounted decontamination and tempering system is designed for the worst of indoor situations that are protected from freezing. This unit is supplied with a skid that is membrane encapsulated, steel-reinforced 4’ x 6’ (1.2 x 1.82 m) wooden structure with bright yellow elastomeric chemically resistant waterproof coating, and protected with UV inhibitors. This can be used as a complete stand-alone decontamination unit and is flexible enough to be used as a multiple shower feeder, and is designed to operate with a number of tempering and electrical options. With features like a modesty curtain and alarm system, anyone would feel comfortable and safe in using this unit. It comes with a tempered water blending system that includes an integral hot water supply, whether stored or supplied by steam, and will incorporate fail-safe features like anti-scald protection and full flow cold water bypass. The electrical system requires 208/240 VAC single phase, 3 wire 40 amp minimum, though it can be easily adapted for other voltages upon request. The eyewash features the medically acclaimed AXION MSR™ eye/face wash head assembly (patent pending). This revolutionary inverted flow design is the only product on the market that provides a Medically Superior Response consistent with all EMT, emergency room and doctors’ office protocols by sweeping contaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity. Because the 8760 can be specified with a number of different hot water supply options, electrical options, blending options, and multi-unit supply capabilities, it is adaptable to almost any emergency shower requirement.

Combination shower and eyewash is certified by CSA to meet the ANSI Z358.1 Standard for /emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment.
