Tempered Water: The thermostatic mixing element responds to changes in incoming hot and cold water temperatures to maintain outlet temperatures to +/- 5°F (2.5°C). Varying conditions can be up to a 30°F (16°C) change in hot water temperature, 30°F (16°C) change in cold water temerature, and a 50% drop in inlet supply pressure. Inlet hot and cold pressures must be equal. The outlet temperature factory setting is 85 °F (26 °C).
Fail-Safe Back Up: Liquid thermal thermostat with tamper-resistant control adjustment. System shuts off all incoming hot water should cold water supply fail. Should the hot water supply become interrupted or the themostatic element fails, the valve will go into cold-water bypass mode.
Maximum inlet pressure: 125 psi. Maximum inlet temperature: 180 °F (82 °C). Recommended inlet temperature: 140 °F (60 °C). Minimum inlet temperature:120 °F (49 °C)
Inlet and Outlet: 1- 1/4" IPS. Isolation check valves are supplied for installation at inlet and outlet.
