Often times it’s beneficial to understand how components, like the 5874 Haws valve, contribute to the effective functioning of our drinking fountains. Patented lead-free forged brass design provides the required amount of durability needed for constant day after day use. Valve is fully front adjustable, and includes an integral 60 mesh strainer for maintenance ease.

• Valve is push button activated and comes equipped with automatic pressure regulation to allow the valve to function under varying water pressures between 30-90 PSI; keeping the stream constant throughout the drinking process.
• Connection is 1/4" IPS inlet and outlet.
• Note: Push button assembly not included. Spanner wrench is included.

• Haws Co. manufactures drinking fountains, electric water coolers and electric drinking fountains to be lead-free by all known definitions including ANSI/NSF Standard 61, Section 9, California Proposition 65, and the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Product is compliant to California Health and Safety Code 116875 (AB 1953-2006).

Model 5874 Components

Accessory Part 0006983506 spanner wrench is used to remove the PBA6 and PBA7 push button cover used with the 5874 valve. Also used to remove retaining ring for replacing the cartridge and screen (VRK5874 kit) in 5874 valve assembly.
