Model 6518.2FR Description

The Haws 6518.2FR freeze-resistant valve system is a fully engineered pneumatic operated valve for use on all Haws ‘Hi-Lo’ two bubbler freeze-resistant pedestal fountains. The placement of the valve below the frost line allows the system to function when freezing conditions are present at surface level. Its fully accessible design allows for reliable service year round.(For high water tables, see Haws model 6519FR)

  • Installed below the frost line, the valve remains fully functional under the worst of weather conditions, with the fountain remaining functional as well.
  • If a maintenance issue ever arises, rest assured that the valve assembly is easily removed and replaced without disrupting the remainder of the fountain.
  • Unit is applicable for dual pedestal mounted fountain designs.

Model 6518.2FR freeze-resistant bury valve for use with dual bubbler head pedestal fountains shall include dual brass pneumatic operated valves installed below the frost line, check valve to drain water from unit when not in use and to prevent back-flow cross contamination, self-regulating .4 gpm (1.5 L) flow controls, separate valve access and pull-out design for easy maintenance, 6" (15.2 cm) diameter PVC pipe to encase valve assembly, and 1/2" IPS supply.
