Often times it’s beneficial to understand how components, like the 5872 Haws valve, contribute to the effective functioning of our drinking fountains. Valve is easily adjustable, making adjustments quick and simple. Body is manufactured of glass filled Celcon.

• Valve is push button activated and comes equipped with automatic diaphragm pressure regulator to allow the valve to function under varying water pressures between 20-90 PSI; keeping the stream constant throughout the drinking process.
• Connection is 1/4" IPS inlet and outlet.
• Note: Haws stopped using this valve on fountains October 3, 2003 and replaced by Model 5874. Unit is still be available as a replacement part.
• Haws Co. manufactures drinking fountains and electric water coolers to be lead-free by all known definitions including NSF/ANSI Standard 61, Section 9, California Proposition 65, and the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Product is compliant to California Health and Safety Code 116875 (AB 1953-2006).
